After a long hiatus, Peter Laird has posted a new "Blast from the Past". This time there is some information about the new "Tales of TMNT series" and a frontispiece drawn by the man himself.
Artist Rick Remender is going to be working on the Tales of TMNT series as well. There is an article and a few pictures on this new series that you can see here.
TMNT on Primetime

The turtles are teaming up with other Fox cartoon heros to fight for their spot on the Fox Box in a primetime special on August 31st at 7:00 P.M. Read the whole artical here.

There is a TPB (Trade Paperback), for the first four issues of the Dreamwave comic book series coming out this November! Also, see the bottem of this page for a few details on TMNT DW #5 which will be starting new and original storylines diverging from the new show. Dreamwave is also going to helping out Konami with content for the new video game and a mini comic in the gaming manual!
Tomart's Action Figure Digest # 113, apperantly has new info and pictures of a lot of the new toys...

Impending Sense of News

TMNT #11 came out yesterday, so go get it right now!
Woolworths and Vivid Imaginations (the TMNT toy distributors in the UK) have announced that they expect the TMNT to be the number one toy for Christmas in the UK, based on the rate of success of the current line. Read the full article here.

The old toon is currently running daily on K-TV in South Africa at 16:30.
Also, the new TMNT board game is in stores as well as lunchboxes, bookbags, folders and other stuff. Its getting hard to keep track of new toys and merchindise coming out these days!

Old School TMNT in the UK

The original TMNT cartoon is back in the UK on CBBC, unfortunetly it is the edited "Hero Turtles" version. "Hero Turtles: The Next Mutation" is also in the UK, on Fox Kids at 7:25 AM (I'm not certain about this time.)

Sorry about the extended absence, a lot of stuff has happened while I was gone, so I'm going to have summarize it as best I can.
First of all, September 13th is the official date for the first new episode of the new show.
Also, the repeat schedule will be changing slightly, on August 16th episodes 2 and 3 will repeat. On August 23rd episode 10 and 11, on August 30th episodes 13, 14 and 15 and on September 6th episodes 17 and 18. The episodes will show one after another from 10:30 AM onwards.
There are pictures of the sculps of the Nanobot and Foot Tech Ninja toys on the official site (www.ninjaturtles.com).
The San Diego comic con had a big TMNT preview apperently of lots of new TMNT toys. Including previews of new TMNT playsets, a Shredder with metalic plating and removable helmet, Shredder's elite guards, a foot gunner which will only appear in the new video game, mini figures of the Shredder, Casey, April and Splinter like the mini TMNT figures before, some Hot Wheels style TMNT cars and playsets, armoured TMNT and "the next mutation hum vee".
The Shredder card series release date has been moved to approximitely September 3rd.
A TMNT Yahtzee Jr. game and a TMNT board game have been spotted at Toys R' Us.
